Airport Metro – Rapid Connectivity to Int’l Airport

The Hyderabad Airport Metro is a proposed rapid transit system that will connect the International Airport in Shamshabad with the city of Hyderabad. The line is 31 kilometers long and will have 9 stations. The project is estimated to cost Rs 6,250 crore and will be completed by 2026.

It is being executed by Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) and recently its MD, Mr. NVS Reddy inspected the alignment route near Rajendranagar where the metro section passes through challenging hillocks. With three corridors spanning 69 km in total, the Hyderabad Metro Rail project is transforming public connectivity like never before in the historic city.
