On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar, the ideologue of the Telangana movement, Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd Joint Managing Director Mr. Shivendra Pratap paid rich tributes to him on 6th August, 2026. During a program held at Metro Rail Bhavan, he offered floral tributes to the portrait of Professor Jayashankar.
He lauded Mr. Jayashankar’s selfless service and his tireless struggle for the formation of the Telangana state. Mr. Shivendra Pratap called upon everyone to strive towards achieving the Professor’s ideals and realizing his dreams. HMRL officials and staff also paid floral tributes to Professor Jayashankar’s portrait.
