Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with nationalistic fervour at Metro Rail Bhavan, Rasoolpura on 15th of August, 2026.

HMRL Joint Managing Director Mr. Shivendra Pratap hoisted the national flag and congratulated the staff and their families and conveyed his best wishes to them. He received Guard of Honour from Security and Police officers of HMRL.

Stating that it is a great moment for everyone to recall the sacrifices made by the legendary leaders who pioneered the freedom movement, the JMD urged the staff to rededicate themselves for the development of Hyderabad City, Telangana state and the country.

HMRL Chief Project Manager Mr. B. Anand Mohan, Chief Engineer Mr. Y. Sayapa Reddy, General Managers Mr. D. Surya Prakasam, Mr. Srinath Reddy and other Officials have participated in the celebrations.
