Celebrating the rich tapestry of Hyderabad’s multicultural fabric and acknowledging the pivotal role played by women in the society, Hyderabad Metro Rail is organizing an exclusive women’s exhibition
Madhuranagar metro station, on Ameerpet-Hitech city route, christened as Taruni-Madhuranagar station is the venue for this one-of-its-kind initiative and exhibition by HMRL. The objective of women’s fair is to entertain, educate and showcase Telangana’s traditional art forms, cuisine and unique culture.
The exhibition, with about 150 stalls will offer consumer products related to women and children on sale, along with separate spaces for children’s play area, amusement rides, food courts, and cultural arena for performing arts etc.
People from different states residing in Hyderabad, will get a novel opportunity to showcase their native culture, arts, dance and cuisine at this festival while interesting competitions in various categories, will be organized for women and children of different age groups.
Children will get an opportunity to participate in competitions involving different art forms, painting, drawing, essay, elocution, debate and music while there will be competitions conducted for women, home-makers, old and young alike on Rangoli, cooking, performing arts etc.
A special stage with green room facility will be created for theme-based stage performances on different themes like traditional/folk dance and music, classical music, film songs, plays on social themes and children’s programmes.
