Common Pass

Hyderabad Metro Rail and TGSRTC together introduce a Common Pass.

The Common Pass provides unlimited travel on Hyderabad Metro and eligible TGSRTC city bus services and is issued in the form of a Card.

* ₹100 security deposit is refundable on return of the card in working and physically undamaged conditions, subject to the applicable return process.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Issuance of Common Card: The Common Card can be purchased and recharged only at any of the Hyderabad Metro Rail station’s ticketing Counters.
  2. Pass Value: The pass value is a travel value, and it is non-refundable.
  3. Card Cost/ Security Deposit: The cost of ₹100 towards card cost /security deposit is onetime payment and refundable only as specified above.
  4. Unlimited Travel: The pass permits unlimited travel on Hyderabad Metro and eligible TGSRTC services during their respective operating hours.
  5. Lost/Stolen Card: The passenger is responsible for the safety and custody of the card. No refund or adjustment shall be provided in case of a lost or stolen card, including the pass value and card cost.
  6. Pass Category: The 1-Day Pass and Monthly Pass are non-interchangeable and cannot be converted from one category to another.
  7. Card Synchronization: The customer may commence travel immediately after purchase/recharge, subject to the availability of the required system and network connectivity.
  8. TGSRTC Bus Applicability: The Common Pass is valid on TGSRTC city buses operating within ORR limits, excluding Pushpak services. Any route or service exclusions shall be as communicated by TGSRTC.
  9. Validity:
    • The 1-Day Common Pass is valid for the calendar day of purchase/recharge.
    • The Monthly Common Pass is valid for 30 calendar days including the date of purchase/recharge.
  10. System/Network Availability: Pass usage is subject to the availability of the relevant ticketing, validation, communication and network systems.
  11. Responsibility for Travel: Hyderabad Metro / TGSRTC shall be responsible for issues related to travel through the Common Pass within its respective area of operation.For instance, passenger faces an issue while travelling in Metro which will be addressed and resolved by Hyderabad Metro. Same is applicable with TGSRTC also.
  12. Misuse of Pass: Misuse of the pass shall attract a penalty of up to ₹500/- as per the applicable TGMV Rules, in addition to confiscation of the pass (TGSRTC).
  13. Rules & Regulations: The card is issued subject to the applicable Rules and Regulations of Hyderabad Metro Rail and TGSRTC.
  14. Advance Recharge of Monthly Pass: The Monthly Pass may be recharged in advance before the expiry of the current validity period. In such cases, the validity of the subsequent 30-day period shall automatically commence upon expiry of the existing validity period.For example, the existing recharge value expiries on 20-12-2026 and passenger recharge the card with the new amount on 10-12-2026. Still the validity period of recharged amount on 10-12-2026 will commences/ starts from 21-12-2026 only.
